Even though you can't tell from the pictures I LOVE Santa. I take any opportunity I can get to see the man in red. I get a little shy when I sit on his lap, but when I get down I can't stop talking about it.
When Mom and Dad ask what I want for Christmas I say either a spaceship or Buzz Lightyear. I am sort of obsessed. Only 6 days left!

My Surgery
Today was quite the day. Mom woke me up at 5:45 am for my dental appointment. After waiting, checking in, and waiting even longer I finally was given the "crazy juice". After 5 minutes I was swaying and having a hard time concentrating. I wasn't sleepy... just very drugged. About 20 minutes later the nurse came and took me back for my surgery.
The procedure was supposed to last an hour but an hour and a half later, Mommy started to get worried. Finally the surgeon came in and gave an update. Things went fairly well. I had 2 teeth extracted, several cavities filled, two teeth capped and then covered. Things weren't so great after that. After half an hour they called Mommy back to pick me up. (She was supposed to be there when I woke up). By the time she reached the sidewalk to the patient pick-up, Mommy could hear me screaming. I was crying so hard I was throwing up.
Once Mommy picked me up I was much better. I snuggled and went back to sleep for a bit. I wouldn't let the nurses touch me to check for vitals or remove my I.V. (I had been through enough). Just then Daddy came in. It was a good thing too. Mommy started getting sick from waiting without food for so long. I cuddled with Dad while she had something to drink, they removed my I.V. and we headed home.
I slept for a bit and started feeling much better. I really wanted to be home with my family. A few hours later I was back to my normal self. Once the swelling goes down I'll post a pic so you can see my great smile.

Sick of being sick
It all started last Saturday with a fever. The fever lasted until Wednesday ranging from 101-104. A trip to the doctor confirmed a nasty virus. Later that day I threw up twice and refused to eat anything. On Thursday the fever disapeared but the runny nose/coughing started full swing. On Friday it was back to the doctor and an ear infection was detected. By Sunday I was finally getting some energy and and eating a little. The runny nose is finally starting to tapper off and hopefully I will be feeling better soon. I am really sick of being sick :(

According to Gavin cont.
When Mommy came in my room to wake me up I had something to tell her. Our conversation went like this (Gavin) Mommy, I need to go to the doctor. (Mom) Why? (Gavin) Cause I have a fwog in my froat and the doctor can take him out. (Mom) Well, open your mouth and let me look for that frog. (Gavin opens his mouth as big as he can) (Mom) Yep, he's in there alright. (Gavin) Yep, I told you he was in there.
Later that day I wanted to say the lunch prayer. I was sure to include going to Chuck E Cheese and asked if we could play more games. Mom and Dad chuckled through the prayer (not sure why, I was serious). They need a lesson on how to be revrint.

According to Gavin
I've said some pretty funny things but last week I said a doosie. We were shopping at Sportsmans Warehouse looking at tents when I exclaimed, "Ew, gross, it's stinky like a rabbit (wabbit)!" Now anything that stinks smells like a "wabbit". Even though it might be a little odd... it sure is funny.

Happy Birthday!
I have been waiting and waiting for my special day. I asked Mommy for a "Lightening McQueen" cake every single day for 2 weeks. I was NOT disappointed. Aside from my cake I got a race track, helicopter, paint book and a wagon. I have had so much fun pulling my wagon around. I load it up with everything from my toys to my sister. As amazing as today was, tomorrow will be just as great. I can't wait for the party. Here are some pictures from my Birthday.

King of the road
Now that I have my own bike I am INVINCIBLE! I was lucky enough to get Reagan's old bike and man do I love to ride it. Usually I talk Dad into pushing me around (I haven't figured out the pedaling thing yet).

Camping Time
Last weekend was the stake father-son camp out. After a little "persuasion" from Mommy, Daddy decided to take me on my first camping trip. I had the time of my life. Not only was I able to get filthy (which my mom HATES), play with fire (yes, my Dad allowed me to make my own smores), run through tents and eat junk until I passed out. You should have seen the look on my Mom's face when she found out I had 7 smores!

Easter

Candy... CANDY-CANDY-CANDY! I love candy. Easter is so great, second only to Halloween. While other kids play with toys and show off the great things they received, I sneak off to eat as much candy as I can possibly get in. When mommy caught on and took my Easter goodies to ration, I fell in love with my new bubble gun. Who doesn't love a constant shower of sticky wet bubbles?
I hate to smile for pictures and usually make my "grumpy face" (as you can see). I am very handsome in my suit but don't let my sweet face fool you, I am trouble!

Gav-Man to the rescue!
When daddy came home from his trip he brought something special just for me. He gave me a book titled "The Super-hero Starter Kit". This book has all sorts of neat things including armbands, masks and, a real cape! I LOVE my cape. I zoom through the house in a flash.
I want to wear my cape 24-7... to bed, at the dinner table, to go shopping, and anywhere else a super-hero might be needed. Mommy has to beg me to take it off.
What you looking at? I am GAV-MAN!!! When I wear my cape I am invincible... well, maybe not quite but you get the idea.

MY LIFE SO FAR...
I have been on the go since the moment I was born. I am definately a mama's boy and love to cuddle. If you hear "quiet"... I am probably in trouble. Here are my pictures from birth up to now.
